The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has tested positive for COVID-19.
Amid the increasing Omicron threat in the country, Ganguly has been admitted to Woodlands hospital in Kolkata with mild symptoms after his RT-PCR test report turned out to be positive.
According to sources, the former Indian captain is in stable state.
Earlier in January this year, Ganguly faced a cardiac arrest and was admitted in the same hospital. He had undergone angioplasty. However, he had tested negative for COVID at that time.
