Bigg Boss 5 Tamil Day 72 begins with a conversation from Day 71. Everyone is having dinner, Thamarai makes Payasam but doesn’t give it to Pavni alone. The latter feels embarrassed and tells Niroop, who asks Thamarai for the reason. She says that there is some more in the kitchen and if she wants, she can have it. Sanjeev gives a bit to Pavni, who walks away from the room.
Thamarai then talks to Ciby about it, says that she doesn’t like the way Pavni treats her, earlier, she had shown face when Thamarai had given her food. Thus, she didn’t want to give it this time. However, there was some more in the kitchen, if she wanted, she could have taken it.
The next day morning, Raju questions Thamarai for not giving Payasam. He says that it is bad not serving her alone when she was also sitting there. Thamarai says that she, anyway, is not going to eat it. Therefore, she didn’t want to do it.
Sanjeev and Ameer talk about how Varun didn’t question Raju yesterday, saying that everyone is a bit partial towards at least one person.
Akshara is seen crying, says that she is missing her family. Varun consoles her.
Pavni talks to Ameer says that how bad things have changed now. She adds that she should’ve talked properly instead of giving hints to Abhinay. Ameer says that it is the problem with everyone, nobody is ready to open up whenever they have something to say.
Sanjeev and Varun talk about the Payasam thing again.
Pavni is not ready to eat anything because it was cooked by Thamarai. However, Priyanka forces her to eat the food which Niroop had prepared.
Thamarai makes fun of Sanjeev for making the payasam thing a big fuss. Ciby and Varun say that it is not a big deal at all.
We see yet another task. There will be a bus in the garden area. Everyone must get into the same and must stay inside as long as they can. The last person standing will be saved from the eviction. However, there will some troubles on the bus and contestants must be ready to face it.
The round starts after the buzzer and in the middle, there will be another buzzer. At the end of the second buzzer, one contestant must get down from the bus after discussing the reason (on why they must stay) with other contestants. If none gets down, the entire round will be cancelled.
Ciby, who had won the previous task, will be the judge for the same.
During the task, we see, smoke, smelly water shower and with every buzzer, the size of the bus gets reduced too.
At the first buzzer, Raju gets down as nobody was ready to get down. Sanjeev is the next to follow.
Bigg Boss sends pizza and asks the contestants who are outside (Raju, Akshara and Ciby) to eat it before the bus. Priyanka gets down seeing the food. Varun follows later.
Abhinay then gets down telling them he wants the game to finish.
In the end, Niroop and Ameer are left. Niroop talks about how important this win is for him. Ameer is convinced and gets down. As a result, Niroop is saved from this week’s nomination.
