Day 16 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Priyanka, Niroop and Abhishek’s conversation. Priyanka reveals why she wanted Ciby to be the leader for the week, says he is not a big threat, adds that she also wanted to know how many contestants would save Raju as he is one of the toughest here, even if he is nominated, he would be saved for sure.
Priyanka adds that she hasn’t done wrong to anyone in the house and Abhishek says that the “bitching” began in the house because of Imman Annachi. Their talk continue overnight, beyond 5 am.
Priyanka then says that Isaivani is using her poverty as a weapon, narrates multiple incidents for the same. The latter had asked Priyanka for accessories as well.
Priyanka reveals that she was very close to nominate Isai; says she would definitely be in the receiving end of her anger soon.
Talking about Thamarai, she says that she had already told Thamarai to come out of those “poverty talks”. Abhishek says that she is not making an effort to understand other’s language and also, she is not ready to make others understand her tamil.
Chinnaponnu talks about Isai to Imman Annachi and few other contestants. She says that she doesn’t even react when Chinnaponnu talks to her. That had hurt her multiple times. Imman Annachi asks Chinnaponnu to take rights with everyone and to ask her directly.
There is a fun activity going on among Niroop, Ciby, Raju Imman Annachi. Niroop, Ciby, Raju acts as if they are directors and they do audition for Imman Annachi. Raju says different emotions and Imman is seen acting accordingly.
Imman Annachi reads the Luxury budget task for the week. This time, there is a special offer from Bigg Boss. This task can help contestants to save themselves or their friend from nomination.
There are five coins, kept in five corners of the house. The contestants must try to take the coin from there while no one is watching. Whoever has the coin, must come closer to any of the Bigg Boss camera and tell it silently to Bigg Boss.
If any other contestant sees them with a coin and if they complaint about it to Bigg Boss, the contestant who is caught would be sent to the jail and would be released only after Bigg Boss’ decision. Those contestants can come back to the game after their jail time.
Bigg Boss didn’t announce what would be the prize for the task. However, there is a small note that Bigg Boss could change the rules of the game anytime.
Raju and Imman Annachi promises Isaivani that they would save her. They plan a strategy, makes Iyakki Berry pick the coin. She silently tell that to Bigg Boss and then drops it in restroom.
The contestants were seen talking about the missing coin while Varun, Akshara sees Iyakki coming out of the restroom. Akshara goes in and steals it.
On the other hand, Madhumitha steals one but a few contestants sees that. However, they decide not to tell to Bigg Boss. Madhumitha promises to help Isaivani.
Iyakki realizes that her coin is missing and she searches for the same.
Varun and Raju picks up another coin and Varun shows it to Bigg Boss. He then tries to hide it in a cupboard.
Priyanka also has a coin and she tries to make a deal with Madhumitha. She wants to save herself and then Abhishek. Madhumitha says that she had already promised Isaivani. Later, confused Madhumitha drops the coin and Priyanka picks it up and shows it to Bigg Boss.
However, according to rules, one must come closer to the camera and show the coin. Priyanka doesn’t do that. With the help of Niroop and Abhishek, she hides it inside her personal things.
Bigg Boss announces that all the five coins are out of the place but only two members had shown it to Bigg Boss properly. He doesn’t reveal who are the two contestants, who did it right; which causes confusion.
Pavni finds one, hides it for a while and then shows it to Bigg Boss. Minutes later, Akshara steals it.
Varun, Raju and Akshara plans for a place to save the coin.
Thamarai Selvi begs everyone to save her. She even tries to touch Abhishek’s leg to help her stay in the house. Abhishek promises to save her.
Three Contestants wants to save Thamarai Selvi. Imman Annachi asks Priyanka to help save Chinnaponnu. She says that she was the one who had nominated Chinnaponnu. She also adds that if she has only one coin, she would save herself first.
Pavni and Suruthi finds one and with the help of Abhinay, they hide it in Garden area. Niroop sees the coin and then tries to pick it up. However, he gets caught by Abhinay who shouts to Bigg Boss. There is a little fight between contestants regarding the rule and Niroop asks for clarity. Minutes later, Bigg Boss sends him to jail and places the coin back in the corner.
This time, Pavni takes it again, slides it inside Suruthi’s pocket. Varun sees that and calls out Suruthi. A fight begins as Pavni and Suruthi doesn’t accept it as Varun didn’t see the coin.
In the other place, Chinnaponnu, Isaivani and Thamarai Selvi sits near coin and each one wait for other two to sleep. With that the episode ends.
