Day 28 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Mr Kamal Hassan paying tribute to late actor Punith Rajkumar and elaborately talks about the actor’s eye donation and the impact of that.
He then talks to contestants. There is a basket filled with words like Fake, Partiality, escape from work, confused state, head weight, hurting others. He asks the contestants to pick words from that and give it to two contestants.
Akshara and Imman get more votes.
Akshara says that she cannot accept two to three words here. One is escape from work given by Isaivani. Another is fake given by Niroop. She says that she will talk to him about it later. Niroop asks her to talk about it before everyone. Akshara says that there were a lot of places where she had forgiven him. Niroop asks about the incidents. She says she will tell once she remembers.
Chinnaponnu gets confused state of mind. She says that she just doesn’t react and is not in confused state.
Iyakki gets a few votes and one of them is Fake. She narrates a few incidents to tell that it is just her character and she is not fake.
Madhumitha doesn’t understand why she got “Partiality”.
Varun explains why he gave confused state of mind to Suruthi and then Ciby explains why he had given the same words to Varun.
Mr Kamal says that this game was to make contestants aware of their own game and its dimension in the house.
During the break, Pavni wants talk and sort out with Raju as the latter has give her the word Fake. Raju asks to leave it as he usually forget things easily.
The contestants then discuss and rant about words given to them.
Akshara is annoyed because of Isai who had given words, “escape from work” to her. Akshara points out that she had cooked for her a lot of times.
Varun and Suruthi sorts out their earlier problem. So does Raju and Madhumitha.
Mr Kamal talks about the debate that had happened in the house. He says that one shouldn’t judge others based on the outfit. One has that independence to wear what they want and if someone has an issue with that, it’s their mentality that should be changed.
Mr Kamal then asks Abhinay to open up more as he has a legacy, coming from a big family.
He then asks the contestants who have been nominated for the week to go to the activity room. He gives hint regarding contestants, one by one, and ask themselves to find out.
Priyanka is saved first. Akshara is the next followed by Suruthi. Pavni is saved as well. Abhinay and Varun are saved while Chinnaponnu is the one to be eliminated.
Everyone is stunned by the same. Chinnaponnu asks sorry to everyone and asks to forgive her if she had hurt anyone in the house. Everyone is in tears. Chinnaponnu leaves the house after singing a song.
Chinnaponnu says that she was missing her granddaughter a lot while she was inside the house. Now, she would miss the house members who were more like a family inside the house.
Chinnaponnu thank fans and everyone for helping her stay in the house, calls it a big opportunity for an artist like her. We then see a short film about Chinnaponnu.
Mr Kamal congratulates her and wishes her all the best.
Akshara is seen crying while sitting all alone in the garden area.
Pavni, Madhumitha and Suruthi talk about Thamarai and then they plan for the next week nomination.
Then Akshara and Varun talks about how one should be in the house. However, they wonder what audience are shown as well. Akshara then talks about Thamarai and how she had asked her to give the coin to her as she assumed that someone would steal her coin. They then discuss about stealing others’ coin in upcoming week.
We then see contestants sing their own lyrics for “Then paadi cheemaiyile” song.
Niroop makes fun of Madhumitha, who had nicknames for both Abhishek and Chinnaponnu, they both got eliminated now.
Abhinay asks to Suruthi whether she had sorted out with Varun. She explains the earlier incident.
Pavni and Suruthi plans for a safer place to save their coin as they think everybody is after that.
