Britney Spears’ conservatorship ends after long battle

Pop star Britney Spears’ conservatorship has been terminated after 13-year long battle.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny, on Friday afternoon, ruled out- “The court finds and determines that the conservatorship of the person and the Estate of Britney Jean Spears is no longer required”.

The pop star was not present at the hearing. However, thousands of her fans were seen outside the court.

Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said, “The record is clear. The time has come today.”

He also added that there is “safety net in place for Britney’s finances and personal care.”

Reacting to the same, her fiance Sam Asghari took to Instagram to share an image with the word “freedom”. He captioned it – “History was made today”

Spears shared a video of her fans celebrating outside the court.
