Chennai Corporation has shared the official contact numbers and email ID for the officers appointed for the flood mitigation.
North East Monsoon 2021 has started and Tamil Nadu had received most rains since 2015 November. With overnight rains, most of the Chennai area had water logging.
According to weather Report, the rain is likely to continue and CM Stalin had announced Government holiday on Monday. He also requested Private companies to provide holiday.
He also visited the area and had provided foods to the people in affected areas. The Chennai Corporation officials are working in full flow to control the damage. There were community shelters arranged for the people.
The corporation also conducted medical camps in shelters.
