India made history in the fight of COVID19 as on Thursday, the country crossed 1 Billion/100 Crore vaccination, including first and second doses.
According to the data released by the Government, more than 74 per cent of the whole population has received the first dose while 31 per cent of the people are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, as of Thursday morning, India had reported 18000+ new cases. The recovery rate is currently at 98.15 per cent.
PM Modi took to Twitter to congratulate all the citizen, said that it is a victory for everyone in the country.
“India scripts history. We are witnessing the triumph of Indian science, enterprise and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians.
Congrats India on crossing 100 crore vaccinations. Gratitude to our doctors, nurses and all those who worked to achieve this feat. #VaccineCentury”, he tweeted.
