Novak Djokovic deported after losing Australia visa appeal

Novak Djokovic has been deported. The Australian Open defending champion has lost his court bid to stay in Australia.

The unvaccinated Serbian will return to his country as his defence unsuccessfully argued that the grounds given by the government were “invalid and illogical”.

This deportation means, he might not be allowed to enter the country for next three years.

Djokovic will not defend his Australian open. He was due to play his first round on Monday.
