Tamil Nadu Government, after a brief meeting with officials, has announced new restrictions to control the COVID19 spread in the state.
- Existing lockdown has been extended until January 10
-Book fair likely to be postponed
- Malls, theatres, showrooms, amusement parks, beauty parlour and hotels will be allowed to function only with 50% of capacity.
-50 people will be allowed for funerals.
- only 100 people will be allowed for marriage
- Buses, train, metro can operate with 50 % capacity
- The existing restrictions will continue for places of worship, social, political meetings
