Two new teams for IPL announced

IPL suspended until further notice due to Corona outbreak

The RPSG Group and the firm CVC Capital have won the ownership of two new teams in the Indian Premier League.

The RPSG Group has set their home base as Lucknow. The winning bid for the same is INR 7090.

On the other hand, the international investment firm will have its home base from Ahmedabad and their winning bid is INR 5166.

On Monday, ten parties along with BCCI audit officials gathered in Taj Dubai. The parties were asked to submit two envelopes.

One contains their financial and personal credentials and the other one is the bid for the new team.

The officials went through the credentials and then opened the bid.

The parties were also allowed to pick their home base.

Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Cuttack, Guwahati, Dharamsala, Indore were the home base announced in the bid.

Now, the team will be based from Lucknow and Ahmedabad
