USA batter Jaskaran Malhotra had smashed six sixes in an over on Thursday.
The USA is playing Papua New Guinea in the ODI series at the moment. In the 2nd ODI, the USA batted first.
However, PNG’s bowlers were too good for them as Pokana, Ravu, Soper removed the top order.
The team was reduced to 72 for 4. However, Jaskaran Malhotra single-handedly took the team to an excellent total.
He began slowly and was 5(11) at one point. Soon, he began to deal in sixes.
He got to his 100 in 101 deliveries and in the 44th over.
In the 50th over, he took on Gaudi Toka and smashed six sixes.
He ended the innings with 4 fours and 16 sixes, had unbeaten 173 runs from 124 deliveries. This is the 2nd highest total in ODIs for the USA. He is also the first USA player to get to ODI hundred.
