West Indies have announced the squad for the upcoming Women’s World Cup. Stafanie Taylor will lead the team and experienced spinner Anisa Mohammad will be her deputy.
The squad also features in-form all-rounders Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin. Apart from them, several youngsters have found a spot in the squad. Bowlers Karishma Ramharack, Aaliyah Alleyne, Cherry Ann Fraser, allrounder Chinelle Henry and opening batter Rashada Williams.
Based on the ICC COVID protocols, the team has announced three travelling reserves- Kaysia Schultz, Mandy Mangru and Jannillea Glasgow
West Indies will begin their World Cup on March 4 against the hosts New Zealand.
