Youth championships: Indian archers smashes two world records in one day

Indian young archers have created two world records on Tuesday.

The Indian under-18 compound women team smashed a world record by 22 points. They shot 2067/2160 during the qualifying round at the world youth championships in Poland.

The record was previously held by the United States with 2045 points.

The girls- Parneet Kaur, Priya Gurjar and Ridhu Varshini Senthilkumar- went to break the record today.

Priya Gurjar created yet another record a few minutes later. Along with Kushal Dalal, she created yet another world record in the qualifying round of World Youth championships Cadet Compound mixed team category.

The pair shot 1401/1440 during their qualifying round at the world youth championships.
