1st T20I: Germany beats Austria by 82 runs

In the first international women’s cricket match after months, Germany found a way to get past Austria with ease.

Batting first, Christina Gough’s 72 off 62 and Captain Doddaballapur’s unbeaten 40 off 30 took the team to 165 for 2 in their 20 overs.

In return, Emma Barna and Asmita Kohli had three wickets each as Austria tumbled right from ball one.

Captain Andrea Mae Zepeda stood unbeaten on 35 off 48 but she had no support with none of the batters making to the double figures.

The second and third T20I is on August 13th.
