IND v AUS: India record their lowest total in Test cricket history

India were rattled by the bowling attack of Australia as they were dismissed for their lowest total in the Test cricket history.

India had lost Prithvi Shaw early at the end of day two and began the day with Nightwatchman Jasprit Bumrah and Mayank Agarwal. Well, they didn’t last long as Cummins dismissed Bumrah first and what followed was a downfall, something so bad that if you had blinked, you would’ve missed a wicket fall.

After Bumrah, Cummins made sure to dismiss India’s main men- Pujara and Kohli- for 0 and 4. In between, Hazlewood got rid of defensive Agarwal. He then took over, dismissed Saha, Ashwin and Vihari.

India were 36 when Cummins came up with a short ball to Shami who got himself into an awkward position to play the pull shot. He misjudged it and the ball had hit him in the arm. In pain, he called out the physio immediately and had to retire. India declared at 36, gave Australia a target of 90 runs.
