History created at the Thailand open as Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty became the first Indian pair to win the BWF Super 500 tournament by stunning the reigning world champions Li Jun Hui and Liu Yu Chen in the final.
To claim the biggest win of their career, the Indian pair produced a hard-fought match and won it by 21-19, 18-21, 21-18 against the third-seeded Chinese combo.
This was the first final in 2019 for the Indian pair. With this victory, they will also become the first Indian pair to make it to the top-10.
