Smriti Mandhana ruled out of South Africa ODIs

The Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has been ruled out of the three ODIs against South Africa starting on October 9 in Vadodara.

Mandhana suffered a fracture in her right toe during her practice session on Sunday. The all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar has been named as Mandhana’s replacement.

Without Mandhana, India certainly will feel the pressure when it comes to the batting. It will be interesting to see who replaces Mandhana in the team.

Right after South Africa series, India will be playing West Indies next.
