IPL12, CSK: Replacement for Lungi Ngidi announced

Chennai Super Kings announced the replacement for Lungi Ngidi on Saturday.

The South African fast bowler who suffered from injury had opted out of the ongoing IPL season and he will be replaced by New Zealand’s all-rounder Scott Kuggeleijn.

The Northern Districts all-rounder had a good domestic season and was recently picked up for the international side.

In the 75 T20s he played, he has so far picked 67 wickets at an economy of 8.56. Also, he has scored 454 runs with an excellent strike-rate of 130.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings is yet to announce the replacement for David Willey who will miss the IPL due to personal reasons.
