Rohit Sharma, however, struggled during the first two balls, almost lost his wicket as well. After giving the strike to Rahul, Rohit calmed himself. Rahul then smashed a boundary and gave the strike back to Rohit. This time, Rohit made sure to keep things simple and produced two excellent shots to take India home.
With this, India managed to grab their first T20I series against New Zealand.
