In the latest press release by Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been declared that lockdown will be extended till June 30 in Coronavirus containment zones.
With the lockdown 4.0 ending on May 31, 2020, the Home Ministry has announced that the containment zones would remain under lockdown till June 30. Meanwhile, in other areas, the activities that were prohibited so far shall be reopened in a phased manner.
The MHA has also released the guidelines for phased reopening in of areas outside of containment zones. Upon opening the standard operating procedure released by the MHA have to be strictly followed.

Phase I – Religious places, hotels, shopping malls to be opened from June 8, 2020
Phase II– Schools, colleges, training institutions and Universities would be opened after discussing with the state governments, the University administrations and the concerned stakeholders. Based on the feedback, the decision would be taken in July.
Phase III– Dates for the resumption of International Air travels, metro trains, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, bars, social, political, sports and other functions would be announced based on the assessment of the situation.
