Thistles have won their 2nd match in a row in the tournament as they topped Duchesses by 36 runs.
Batting first, Thabethe and Chetty gave the team an excellent start with 43 and 45 respectively. After the fall of their wickets, Duchesses bounced back by rattling the middle-order. Thistles went on to make 148 from their 20 overs. Mali, Mashishi and Legodi grabbed a wicket each.
In return, Sekhukune ran Tunnicliffe early. Jafta and Luus then added good partnership and brought the team back. Jafta had 23 and Luus had 42.
After their partnership was broken, Thistles bowlers found it easier to destory the batting order of Duchesses as they went on to defeat the team by 36 runs.
Ismail had two, Fiqueirirdo had three and Baneti had four wickets for Thistles.
