International archer Pragati suffers brain stroke needs fund for treatment!

Budding archer Pragati Choudhary who is just 16 suffered a brain stroke recently and is looking for help.

Choudhary, who won an individual gold and two silver medals in the International Solidarity event in Dhaka last year, suffered a stroke on Tuesday and has been in coma since her surgery.

The Khelo-India supported athlete fund has an insurance policy of Rs 5 Lakhs but according to the reports, her treatment would cause more than Rs 15 Lakhs.

Kanika Mehra, sister of Pragati wrote on social media to raise funds.

“My sister, Pragati, a young budding international level archery player, and merely 16 years old, suffered a brain stroke last week and has been battling for her life ever since.
The treatment cost is very astronomical for our family, and we need help,” she wrote.
