Mitchell Starc is one of the most successful and lethal white-ball bowlers going around. Fans were curious to know which franchise will end up buying him. The news of him opting out came as a surprise for the fans and the franchises.

England Test captain Joe Root is one of the other significant players whose name wasn’t in the draft list for IPL 2020 auctions. Glenn Maxwell, who has taken an indefinite break due to mental health issues, is listed in the IPL 2020 draft list.
