Moeen Ali tested positive for COVID19

England all-rounder Moeen Ali has been tested positive for coronavirus.

England who have landed in Sri Lanka took the mandatory PCR tests at the airport at Hambantota on 3rd January.

The PCR tests for Moeen Ali showed positive symptoms.

The all-rounder will now undergo self-isolation for 10 days as per Sri Lanka’s protocol.

England all-rounder Chris Woakes was the only player who came in close contact with Ali in recent times and so, he will be undergoing self-isolation as well.

All the cricketers will once again undergo the tests on Tuesday and based on the schedule, they will begin their training from Wednesday.
