Due to the tight schedule, Shraddha Kapoor had to opt out of the biopic of Indian Badminton superstar Saina Nehwal something the Shraddha for shooting for like months now. The actress went through gruelling badminton sessions but unfortunately, something kept coming that delayed the shoot.
At first, it was Shraddha’s health condition where she suffered from Dengue, later she got busy with Street Dancer 3D and Saaho. Now that she has signed Baaghi 3 as well, the shooting time somehow was not working out. With no other options, the producers are replacing her with Parineeti Chopra. However, the delay didn’t stop the director Amole to shoot the scenes of young Saina Nehwal.
As per the report, the Bushan Kumar productions will resume the shoot by April with Parineeti Chopra.
Meanwhile, Parineeti is gearing up for the release of Kesari, based on the Battle of Saragarhi fought between the British Indian army’s Sikh Regiment and Afghan tribesmen in September 1897. The film will see Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
