Sanjay Manjrekar axed from commentary panel: Reports

Sanjay Manjrekar is one of the senior commentators in BCCI. He has been openly biased many a times and recently he got into controversy for calling Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer and most recently he fought with Harsha Bhogle during the Pink Test.

Well, it looks like BCCI has been taking note of everything that had happened and now, he is left out of the panel.

As per Mumbai Mirror, the former India batsman has been axed from the panel and he didn’t travel to Dharamsala for the opening ODI against South Africa. His fellow commentators were in town and also did pre-match shows.

Also, it looks like the BCCI decided to leave him out from the IPL commentary panel.

“Maybe he will be left out from the IPL panel too. At this stage it is not on top of our mind. But the fact is they are not happy with his work,” said the source.

Meanwhile, The ODI series between India and South Africa was called off and the IPL has been postponed to April 15th due to Corona Virus outbreak.
