Shahid Afridi tested positive for COVID19

Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi is currently in treatment after testing positive for novel coronavirus.

He took to social media to share the news.
“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” he wrote on Twitter.

Afridi is the second Pakistan cricketer top test positive for COVID-19. Recently, former Pakistan opener Taufeeq Umar had also tested positive. He has recovered from the disease.

Ever since the lockdown began, Afridi has been doing a lot of charity work through his foundation Hope Not Out.

He helped thousands of people by providing them supplies and essentials.

Wishing him a speedy recovery.
