3 Robbers are arrested for murder of Suresh Raina’s relatives

On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh 3 alleged memabers of an interstate gang have been arrested on Suresh Raina’s relatives’ murder case.

Raina’s uncle Ashok Kumar and cousin Kaushal Kumar were killed while his aunt Asha Rani is hospitalized after the family was attacked by a gang on 20th August at Pathankot. She is in critical condition. Dinkar Gupta, Punjab Director General of Police (DGP), said in his official statement that these 3 are part of an interstate and gang and 11 more in this gang are yet to be arrested. These gang was seen by Special Investigation Team (SIT) at the Pathankot railway station on 15th September morning.

The accused did a robbery on 14th August too. And it gave the lead to the team. “Five of the accused entered the house using ladder from the side of the roof, where they saw three people lying on the mats. They suspects hit on their head before moving into the house, where they attacked two others before escaping with cash and gold ornaments”, He said.
