Yuvraj Singh seeks permission from BCCI to play in Foreign T20 leagues; likely to retire!

One of the legends of the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh has come in terms with the fact that he might not play for India again and is likely to retire soon to continue his cricketing career by playing for foreign T20 leagues. Right now, he is waiting for approval from BCCI.

The veteran is looking to play in leagues like Euro T20 Slam or GT20 and other ICC approved leagues.

BCCI is in talks to give permission for the former cricketers to play in Foreign leagues.

The Indian all-rounder was last seen in IPL where he played for Mumbai Indians. Blame his running and his fielding, he had to sit out for the remaining matches.

Recently, Irfan Pathan became the first Indian cricketer to put his name for CPL draft.

However, according to a senior BCCI official, Pathan was asked to withdraw from the league and the official added that even if Yuvraj retired from the first class and international cricket, he still will be BCCI contracted T20 player, which will rule him out as well.

The rules are needed to be checked, said the official.
