India’s recovery rate from coronavirus pandemic has crossed 92 per cent and is currently at 92.09 %.
While the country recorded 46,253 cases on a single day recently, the number of discharged cases are also increasing compared to earlier.
Currently, the country has 5,33,787 active cases and the number of deaths stands at 123611.
The total cases are 83,13,876 and 76,56,478 have recovered currently.
As of Tuesday, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Tamil Nadu is 19,201. According to a bulletin released by the Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu, 1,01,69,917 samples from the state have been sent for testing till date, with 69,496 samples having been sent yesterday.
Tamil Nadu recorded 31 deaths on Tuesday, state toll stands at 11,214.
The state also discharged 2707 patients following treatment, putting the total number of recoveries at 7,01,527.
