IPL 2021: Harbhajan Singh leaves Chennai Super Kings

Harbhajan Singh will not feature in CSK’s upcoming season and the veteran spinner took to social media to announce the news.

He wrote- “As my contract comes to an end with @ChennaiIPL, playing for this team was a great experience..beautiful memories made &some great friends which I will remember fondly for years to come..Thank you @ChennaiIPL, management, staff and fans for a wonderful 2years..”(sic)

Harbhajan did not feature in the previous season as well. He didn’t travel to UAE due to family reasons.

He did play a significant role for the team and was one of the economical bowlers as well.

Now, the team will be looking to rebuild the side after a poor 2020 season.
