ICC rankings: Shafali Verma becomes World Number 1 batter in T20Is

Indian opener Shafali Verma has taken over the world’s number one rankings in the shortest format of the game. She has 750 points now after her blistering knock in the 2nd T20I recently. Beth Mooney, who has 748 points, is in the 2nd position.

In the ODIs, Tammy Beaumont is back to number one spot, has taken over the spot from Lizelle Lee.

Marizanne Kapp, who had a good ODI series, moves to 2nd in the ODI bowling list as well as all-rounders list.

India’s Deepti Sharma has climbed a few spots and is at the 4th position in the T20I all-rounders’ rankings.

Meanwhile, India will take on South Africa once again in the T20I series final match. The visitors have already won the series 2-0.
