Pune: Harbhajan Singh to provide mobile COVID19 testing

Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has come forward to provide mobile testing for COVID19 in Pune.

“Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh had approached us a few days ago and offered help to contain the Covid-19 surge. The mobile lab for Covid-19 testing will start at Vadgaonsheri tomorrow,” said state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil.

The testing will be operated by Mylab Discovery Solutions.

“It will be easily moved in slum areas and other localities making it possible to have easy access to the testing. This will help in faster testing and results which will further help in treating”, he added.

The laboratory can test upto 1500 people per day and can provide the result in four hours.

The cost will be free for those in Below Poverty Line and will be Rs 500 for other citizens.
