Elavenil Valarivan defends her Gold; India Bag 10m Air Rifle Team Gold With World Record

Elavenil Valarivan successfully defended her Gold in the ISSF Junior World Cup successfully after finishing ahead of Mehuli Ghosh for the Gold. While Elavenil managed 631.8, Mehuli fell 1.4 points short.

The competition was intense as Elavenil failed to keep up to her level in the finals qualification as she finished eighth contrast to the last year where the youngster went on to rewrite the record books for the qualification score.

Elavenil also combined with Shreya Agrawal and Zeena Khitta to claim the team gold medal.
