ASIA GAMES 2018: SANJEEV RAJPUT BAGS SILVER

Shooter Sanjeev Rajput clinched the third silver medal for India at the Asian Games 2018 after winning the 50m Rifle 3 Positions on Tuesday.

Rajput ended with a score of 452.7 to finish second behind Zicheng Hui of China, who came out of nowhere to clinch the gold medal with a score of 453.3. Takayuki Matsumoto of Japan bagged the bronze with a score of 441.4.

This is India’s third medal in shooting on day three after Saurabh Chaudhary, who smashed the Games record to win the men’s 10m air pistol event ahead of compatriot Abhishek Verma, who bagged the bronze medal in the same event.
