Indian Superstar Dalima Chhibber heads to Canada for studies; will play in Canadian leagues!

Last two years have been great for the Indian Women’s Football team. A good winning percentage of around 67, improvement in the rankings to name a few.

There was a lot of stand out performances and Dalima Chhibber’s goal off Freekick from the match against Nepal is certainly one of them.

Dalima Chhibber, 21, who leads the Indian attack was recently missing from the national camp and that did raise many eyebrows. To make things clear, the Indian forward took to Social Media to share the news that she is heading to Canada for her masters.

Dalima now will head to Canada to continue her studies, the masters in Sports Psychology. and also she will be playing in the leagues in Canada. She also added that she cannot wait to come back to represent the country soon.

It is an excellent opportunity for the superstar because of the exposure in Canada.

Canada is ranked seventh in the FIFA Rankings and is one of the best teams in the world. This not only will be a learning experience for Dalima but also it is important from the Indian Football point of view.
