Alzarri Joseph replaces Adam Milne in Mumbai Indians squad

The New Zealand pacer Adam Milne who plays for Mumbai Indians suffered a heel injury recently was ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League and his replacement was announced.

Mumbai Indians has opted to go with Alzarri Joseph as the replacement for Milne. The West Indian Pacer recently debuted West Indian side in both ODI and Test Cricket and is yet to make his T20I debut.

The 22-year-old pacer has just played seven T20 matches and has picked up as many wickets at an alarming economy rate of 11.41.

Joseph’s recent form and the base price would have been the reason why the Mumbai Indians bought the pacer. In the last five first-class innings, he has picked up 16 wickets.

With Malinga returning to the side earlier than expected, it will be interesting to see if Joseph gets an opportunity.
