Virat Kohli reclaims No.1 Test spot

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli moves back to the number one spot after Steve Smith’s poor run against Pakistan.

Kohli went past Smith, thanks to his hundred against Bangladesh in the Day-night Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens as well.

Smith, who made heads turn with his jaw-dropping performance in the Ashes Test, took over the number one ranking from the Indian captain but against Pakistan, he had a poor run and that brings Kohli back to the spot.

Also, David Warner who destroyed Pakistan moved 12 places in the latest ranking and stays at the 5th spot, pushing Rahane down to 6th.

Cheteshwar Pujara stays at number four in the latest ranking.
