AUS vs IND- Ravi Jadeja ruled out of series

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the ongoing Australian series with a broken thumb.

Jadeja was hit on his thumb by Mitchell Starc’s bouncer while batting. Jadeja immediately asked for Physiotherapist but went on to bat after having sprays and tape. He remained unbeaten during India’s first innings.

However, the all-rounder did not take the field in the 3rd innings of the game and took scans for his thumb. The scans now has returned and it is confirmed that he has a fracture.

He will be undergoing rehab for at least four to six weeks now. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant also suffered a blow while batting but thankfully, his scans returned nothing and he will be batting in the next innings.
