Bigg Boss produced a few stars and Tharshan is one among them. After his stint in the house where he gained a lot of fan following, he went on to sign movies and one of them being with Kamal Haasan’s Rajkamal films.
While everything was going great for him, things turned upside down when Sanam Shetty filed a complaint against him. She accused Tharshan of cheating her and not marrying her after the engagement. Then there were case hearings as well.
This incident had fans separated.
Sanam Shetty was active on social media but Tharshan went to sabbatical, was inactive. Finally, today, he broke his silence took to social media to share his first post in days. He wrote:
Relationships fail for whatever reasons and that is between those two people. If one or both are unhappy then the realistic choice is to go seperate ways amicably before things become too difficult. Being in an unhappy relationship for whatever reason is not right and there was never any intention to hurt. I had the utmost respect for this person but things became unhealthy and they couldn’t accept that reality and set out to purposely destroy me. None of the allegations have been true and my personality has been put on trial by the media and those who do not know the truth or facts.
I am deeply hurt by this and took time away from social media etc for this reason. Setbacks happen in life but I have learned from this and am now more than ever focused on the future and my career. Thank you so much to those who stood by me no matter what and for that i am eternally grateful. (sic)
