Breaking: IPL may shift entirely to Mumbai

IPL suspended until further notice due to Corona outbreak

According to reports in ESPN Cricinfo, BCCI are looking to move all the remaining IPL matches after a couple of players tested positive inside the bubble.

According to reports, BCCI had made calls to Mumbai hotels and had asked them about creating bio bubble and other safety requirements for the tournament.

However, there isn’t an official announcement regarding the same.

According to reports, BCCI will look into to the current schedule to make required changes as there were a few double-headers scheduled earlier.

BCCI are also looking to push the final to early June.

However, this will be a tough one considering the upcoming World Test Championship Final.

Since Mumbai had already conducted IPL this season, it will be a bit easy for them to come up with bubble once again. Also, BCCI might look to utilize the other two stadium in the city. In fact, they were also used by players and teams for practicing.

Official announcement awaited… More to follow…
