COVID patient recovers via plasma therapy

In a positive response, a 47 years old woman who was the first to receive plasma therapy at Sassoon General Hospital tested negative for COVID19 for two consecutive weeks.

While the woman is tested negative, she will be kept under observation for a few more weeks.

However, she is now in the normal ward after being shifted out of COVID ward.

There is no therapy which is proved to be a cure for COVID19 and every single therapy so far is just in its experimental stage.

Plasma Therapy includes injecting the blood from a cured COVID19 patient. The blood injected will develop the necessary antibodies to fight coronavirus.

The plasma was induced into the patient on May 10 and May 11. So far, the trail proved to have potential, however, it is yet to be confirmed as a cure for COVID19.
