Cricket during COVID19: Pakistan cricket team arrive in Manchester

Pakistan Cricket team arrived at the Manchester for their series against England which will be happening in August/September. Pakistan cricketers were seen wearing masks.

Earlier, Pakistan tested 29 players who were supposed to fly to England and among the 29 players, 10 of them tested positive for COVID19. However, a few days later, six out of the ten players tested negative.

Despite the result, the ten players didn’t travel to England in the first set of players. The 20-member squad, including 11 support staff officials, will now be put under a 14-day quarantine period in Worcester before transferring to Derbyshire’s Incora County Ground on July 13.

The team will begin practicing right after the end of their quarantine. Currently, England will be taking on West Indies.
