Happy Birthday, Yuvan

Every star kid always has that ‘added’ pressure to excel in life because of their parents, and if you are in the same profession as your parent, things can get worse. People will compare you with them, bring you down. Only a few, literally countable star kids have created a name for themselves, and Yuvan Shankar Raja holds a special place in this list.

I grew up hearing the songs of ARR, Harris and Yuvan and a few more composers in most parts of my life. Yuvan’s songs played a major role and two such album was 7G and Kaadhal Kondhen. I’m so attached to these two albums and of course, there are a few more songs as well like say Pudhupettai. I have a playlist of Yuvan songs which takes me elsewhere, deep to my memories whenever I hear them.

After Mankatha I didn’t enjoy most of his albums, but yes, I did like Pyaar Prema Kadhal. Of course, I didn’t get the same feeling which his old albums gave me, but this is kind of refreshing.

To talk more about Yuvan, the way he treats his fans as friends is something adorable. He always has time for them. I’ve been there and this is something I will always admire in him.

Thank you Yuvan for giving me songs that I can relate to; Thank you for being there.

Happy Birthday.
