History created: Bangladesh lift their 1st U19 World Cup

If you are looking for an inspiration, you’ll find it a lot from here. The so-called underdogs dethroned the defending champions India in the Under 19 World Cup and has created history.

Batting first, India managed to score only 177, thanks to some brilliant performances from the bowlers, especially Avishek Das who grabbed three wickets.

For India, it was Jaiswal who once again led the team from the front with 88. Other than Tilak who made 38, nobody supported Jaiswal.

In return, Bangladesh had a great start with 50 runs partnership but Bishnoi turned the plates for India with his four wickets.

While the match was going neck to neck, Bangladesh had Akbar Ali, who held his nerves, scored 43 to take the team home. The rain interruption did not affect the Bangladesh chase as they created history on Sunday.

Undoubtedly, there are a lot of players who has already made heads turn at this world cup. In a few years, they will be doing wonders in the senior level too.
