ICC Awards: Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami in Women’s ODI team of the decade

Indian ODI skipper Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami have been named in the Women’s ODI team of the decade by ICC. Mithali Raj is the leading run-scorer in the format with more than 6000 runs to her name and Jhulan Goswami is the leading wicket-taker in the ODIs with more than 220 wickets to her name.

Meg Lanning has been named as the captain of the ODI team of the decade as well. Alyssa Healy and Ellyse Perry are the two other Australians in the team.

New Zealand’s Suzie Bates is the only player from the country while Anisa Mohammed and Stafanie Taylor had made it to the team from West Indies.

Former England wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor has been named in the team as well and is the only England player in the team. South Africa’s Dane Vane Niekerk and Marizanne Kapp are the other two players named in the team.
