IND A vs AUS A: Siraj’s sportsmanship wins heart

Indian cricketer Mohammad Siraj’s sportsmanship towards Cameron Green is one of the talking points in the ongoing match between India A and Australia A.

Cameron Green was in his second spell when Jasprit Bumrah smashed a delivery right back at him. The ball travelled faster than Green had expected and it went on to hit him on his head.

Green feel down immediately. Siraj, who was at the non-striker’s end dropped his bat and ran towards Green to check if he was okay. Siraj’s sportsmanship was applauded by the netizens and the video went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, India A began their campaign well with decent knocks from Shaw and Gill but the middle-order tumbled. In the end, it was the fifty from Bumrah that took team to 194. Bumrah scored 55* from 57 deliveries.

In return, Indian bowlers did well to reduce Australia to 108. Shami and Saini had 3 wickets each while Bumrah grabbed two and Siraj had one.
