IND v WI 3rd T20I: Jemimah takes India home against lifeless Windies

West Indies had nothing to cheer for the third consecutive time in the T20I series as they certainly looked lifeless against the visitors.

Opting to bat first, the Windies managed 59 for 9 in their 20 overs with Nation and Henry top-scoring with 11 runs each. The home team struggled against a composed Indian attack who gave away literally nothing.

India used six bowlers and each one of them picked at least a wicket with Radha Yadav and Deepti Sharma picking up two wickets each.

Radha Yadav certainly was the pick of the bowlers who gave away just six runs in her four overs. Poonam Yadav had a wicket and gave away just eight runs.

Chasing only 60 to win, West Indies bowlers did well to remove both the openers early and India was 13 for 2 at one point.

While Kaur got out after making seven, Jemimah Rodrigues made sure to take India home safe with a composed knock of unbeaten 40 off 51 deliveries.

Jemimah took the player of the match award home for the knock, which certainly was a class apart considering how the things turned out for both the teams.

This is possibly one of the great bowling performances from the Indian team and Jemimah finishing the match for India is yet another great sign.

Coming to the West Indies, things are not looking great for the team and the former champions certainly need to work a lot on their batting.
