  • He now holds the most 50+ scores in Men’s T20Is
  • He surpassed Chris Gayle for the most number of sixes.
  • Now, that will make him the only player to hold more than two records in men’s T20I.
  • Rohit Sharma has so far scored more than 400 runs against WI in Men’s T20Is, the highest by any Indian batter.
  • This was Rohit-Dhawan’s 10th 50+ partnership in T20Is
  • Rohit Sharma now has scored more runs than any other Asian batter in overseas in Men’s T20Is.
  • Rohit Sharma became the First Opener to complete 2000 Runs in T20I.
  • Today was the fourth time he dispatched the first delivery to the boundary in T20I cricket, equalled Gayle’s record which is second most.
  • On the other hand, Virat Kohli now holds the record for most runs in Men’s T20 cricket by an Indian.
