Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the home Test series against England.
Jadeja while playing in the 3rd Test, had dislocated his left thumb in Sydney, underwent surgery in Australia but will need six weeks to recover.
India will host England for four Tests, five T20I, three ODIs.
The first two Tests will be played in Chennai while the next two will be in Ahmedabad.
Based on Jadeja’s recovery, he will be included in the squad for the limited overs series.
